Meet the founding team

Jan has spent his career building and leading financial markets data businesses, taking three through to exit, and has worked extensively with private equity-backed companies both as an operator and as an angel investor. He previously ran Derivia, Euromoney Institutional Investor’s derivatives data business, having started his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London. Jan holds a degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) from Oxford University and is a former British Army Officer.

Iain worked as a journalist before founding EuroHedge and HedgeFund Intelligence which provided news and data on European and then global hedge funds. He went on to help build and sell Creditflux, a CLO news and data publication.

David has spent most of his career working with data. After a spell in the Army he moved into consulting, delivering data-analytics projects with Deloitte and AlixPartners working mainly with private equity clients. Most recently he was Chief Data Officer at WithIntelligence, prior to its sale to S&P Global in 2025. David lives in Richmond-upon-Thames with his family and is one of the many weekend cyclists in Richmond Park. He is a graduate of Cambridge University.
